Andy Gray Back to the Team

Andy was born on November 22nd, 1978 and has lived in Maine for his whole life until he came to the University of Chicago in 1997.When he was a kid, he spent a lot of time in the woods, but he admits he spent way too much time in front of the TV. He has an older brother a younger brother and a younger sister.

When Paul came back from his '97 expedition to the Sahara he gave a talk at the U of C. Andy tagged along with a couple of girls who wanted to hear the lecture. All of this paleontology stuff seemed pretty cool to Andy, so he volunteered in the lab for a quarter, and most of his work in the lab has been on a huge crocodile cranium. He's a biology major specializing in Ecology & Evolution who has postponed graduation until the fall for this expedition.

After graduating Andy hopes to move to the Pacific- maybe Hawaii, Alaska or New Zealand.
